The starting point: invisible

When SWAGO Creative came to Kyubi, the business had product, capacity, and a strong local reputation — and no website at all. No domain authority. No structured presence for search engines to index. And critically, nothing for AI agents like ChatGPT to retrieve and recommend when a buyer in Miami asked, “where can I get custom t-shirts and screen printing?”

In a category that runs on speed, trust, and “who can I call today,” being invisible to both Google and AI search isn’t a soft problem. It’s the whole problem. Every quote a competitor won was a quote SWAGO never even saw.

The mandate was simple to state and hard to execute: build the entire retrieval surface from zero, and make SWAGO the answer — on Google and inside AI agents — without spending a dollar on ads.

The strategy: engineer for retrieval, not just ranking

Traditional SEO would have aimed for a few keyword rankings and called it a campaign. We built for how buyers actually search in 2026 — split between Google’s organic results and conversational AI agents, primarily ChatGPT.

That meant treating the site as a retrieval surface from day one:

1. A fast, semantic, schema-rich foundation

We built SWAGO a production-grade site engineered for both human buyers and machine crawlers:

  • Clean, fast-loading pages with semantic HTML structure AI crawlers can parse unambiguously.
  • Structured data (LocalBusiness, Service, Product, FAQPage) so search engines and LLMs understand exactly what SWAGO does, where, and for whom.
  • A clear entity model — one consistent name, address, and service definition across every page and every external profile.

2. Content mapped to real buyer intent

We didn’t chase vanity keywords. We mapped the questions Miami buyers ask before they buy — “custom screen printing near me,” “bulk t-shirt printing Miami,” “fast turnaround custom apparel” — and built pages that answered them directly, in the format AI agents prefer to cite: clear, factual, well-structured, and authoritative.

3. Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)

This is where the outsized results came from. We engineered SWAGO’s presence specifically so that ChatGPT and other AI agents surface and recommend the brand when users ask for custom apparel in Miami:

  • Citation-ready content with the specificity LLMs reward (services, materials, turnaround times, location).
  • Authority and consistency signals across the web that reinforce SWAGO as the entity for its category and city.
  • Technical accessibility for AI crawlers (GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, and peers) so the content could actually be retrieved.

4. Local and entity authority

For a location-based service business, local relevance is non-negotiable. We built the local SEO and entity foundation — consistent business data, category-correct structured markup, and a reviews-ready presence — that compounds trust with both Google and AI agents.

The results: six figures, zero ad spend

Within five months of launch, SWAGO Creative generated over $100,000 in revenue — entirely from organic channels.

  • $100K+ in organic revenue in the first five months.
  • $0 spent on advertising. No Google Ads, no paid social, no sponsored placements.
  • #1 recommendation in ChatGPT for custom apparel and screen printing queries in its Miami market — buyers were being sent directly to SWAGO by the AI itself.
  • A standing start to six figures in under half a year, on a brand-new domain with no prior authority.

The channel mix tells the real story: this growth came from Google organic and AI agents — primarily ChatGPT — not from buying attention, but from being engineered into the answer.

Why it worked

Most businesses in SWAGO’s position would have been told to “do SEO” (slow) or “run ads” (expensive, and gone the moment you stop paying). We did neither in isolation. We built an owned, compounding retrieval surface — a site and entity presence engineered to be found, trusted, and cited by both the world’s biggest search engine and its fastest-growing one.

In AI search, there is no page two. There’s the answer, and there’s everyone else. SWAGO became the answer — from zero, in five months, for nothing in ad spend.
